Why not give everyone their own account
Accounts with email and passwords make sense for the office. On the warehouse floor they get in the way: people share logins, passwords end up on a sticky note on the scale, and when a seasonal packer leaves nobody remembers to close their account. A shared device with a personal PIN fixes all three.
Setting up the tablet
- In Team, set your company ID and a team password. You type these once on each shared phone, tablet or computer — not your own sign-in.
- Add each person by name with a role — Warehouse, Driver — and a four-digit PIN they choose with you.
- On the tablet, everyone taps their name and types their PIN. They can change their own PIN later from their profile, with the one they have now.
A tablet that is moving to another site, or going in a drawer, can be signed out from its own screen. Anyone using it after that needs the company ID and password again.
Who sees what
- Warehouse sees two things: Pack and Load. Counts and weights, what is short, which truck — and no prices, anywhere.
- Drivers see their run, by delivery window, and the customer they are standing in front of: address, phone, what was ordered.
- The office keeps orders, customers, products and prices.
When someone leaves
Turn their access off in Team. They disappear from every shared device at once, and any session they had open ends. Their name stays on the orders they packed or delivered, so your history still makes sense next month.
