Owners and admins add and change products.
1. On the web, open Products and press Add product. On the phone, open Products and tap + (New product).
2. Enter the Name. As you leave the name, Supligo suggests its Category and how it is taxed; change either. Add a SKU if you have one; left empty, it is made from the name.
3. Choose how it is sold. By the unit is charged per unit delivered. By weight is charged on the actual weight packed.
4. Enter the unit you sell it by (case, bag, each), the pack size, and the price: per unit, or per kg or lb. For weight, also enter its average weight; orders use it as the estimate.
5. Check how it is taxed: Basic food, Prepared food, Soft drinks, Packaging and so on. Choose how it is Kept: Dry, Chilled or Frozen. Chilled and frozen products only go on a truck that keeps them cold.
6. Save it and add its photo. Add photos on the web adds many at once.
To bring in a list, open Products on the web and press Import. Drop an .xlsx, .csv or .ods file (up to 5,000 rows) or paste cells from Excel; when the drop area offers it, a photo or a PDF of your price list works too. Download a template shows the columns. Supligo AI sorts the products into categories and suggests how each is taxed where the list says nothing, and marks rows to check with a note that starts Supligo AI. Turn off brings the list in exactly as it is. You see every row before anything is saved, and an existing product is matched by its SKU. Brought in lately lets you Undo an import.
What each kind pays depends on where you are. Once you have answered the tax registration question, setup and Company details in Settings show what each kind pays where you are (What your products pay in Ontario, for example); in the US you set your rate for each state on the Taxes page. Settings, Taxes lists how each product is taxed, with what Supligo suggested, for you to check.
