Meat and seafood
Meat and seafood distributor software, with catch weight built in
No striploin weighs exactly 12 pounds and no salmon fillet weighs exactly 10. Supligo lets customers order by the piece or the case, has your team record the real weight as they pack, and charges what is on the scale.
- Beef StriploinOrdered 1 piece, about 12 lb12.4 lb
- Atlantic Salmon FilletOrdered 10 lb9.8 lb
- Roma TomatoesOrdered 2 cases of 25 lb2 cases
Catch weight from the order to the summary
Estimated when ordered, exact when packed
You price per pound with a usual piece weight. The customer sees an estimate marked “~”. The person packing types the weight from the scale; the order’s total follows it, and the customer is emailed if anything differs. Catch weight pricing, explained.
- A price per pound, with the usual weight of a piece or case
- A second look at any weight far from what was expected
- An order summary built from delivered weights
- Beef StriploinOrdered 1 piece, about 12 lb12.4 lb
- Atlantic Salmon FilletOrdered 10 lb9.8 lb
- Roma TomatoesOrdered 2 cases of 25 lb2 cases
What you get
Billed on real weight
Never on the estimate. If the customer takes fewer pieces at the door, the weight is reduced in proportion.
Chilled and frozen trucks
Trucks keep their temperature, cold orders are flagged when no cold truck is free, and drivers record the temperature before each run.
Refused at the door, with a photo
Damaged, quality or short: each refused line has its reason and a photo, and the customer is charged only for what they kept.
Whole fish, fillets and cases
Sell by the piece, the case or the pound — each product in its own unit.
Packers who never see prices
Give the people who cut, weigh and pack a role that shows weights and counts, never prices.
When the catch is short
Offer a substitute — cod for haddock — and the customer answers yes or no from an email.
Questions we hear
Does Supligo read weights from my scale?
Not directly: the person packing reads the scale and types the weight in.
Can I sell some items by the case and some by the pound?
Yes. Each product has its own unit. A product priced by weight can still be ordered as pieces or cases, with the estimate shown to the customer.
Does Supligo track lot numbers or traceability?
Not today. Supligo records orders, weights and deliveries, not lots.
