Your storefront's sign-in page has Open an account, for a business that is not your customer yet. What happens next is your choice: Settings, Online ordering, New businesses.
Open an account (the default). The business fills in its Business name, Your name, Email, Phone and Delivery address, and confirms its email with a six-digit code. It becomes your customer at once, can order straight away, and is emailed a welcome from you with the link to your store. It pays Cash on delivery until you change its payment terms on its customer page, and its orders say New customer until one is delivered. You get an email each time a business opens an account.
Some still wait for your yes, even with Open an account: a business that looks like a customer you already have (the same name or phone, with another email), an address none of your delivery windows reaches, and every one after 30 new accounts in a day. A business is never joined to a customer you already have on its own: a stranger would see that customer's prices and orders.
Ask me first. Every business asks to order, and you say yes or no. You get an email, and Customers shows the request with Answer. Owners, admins and sales answer them:
1. Press Answer.
2. Each request shows the Person, where it Delivers to, the delivery days and times that address Gets, and any Note.
3. Add as a customer adds the customer, with its person and delivery address, and emails the person their own link to order.
4. If it looks like a customer you already have, the request says so, and you can add the person to that customer or Add as a new customer. Add someone to a customer only if you know they work there: they would see its prices and orders, and order on its account.
5. Turn down adds nothing and emails nobody.
While your storefront is closed, nobody can open an account or ask.
