Order summaries

Fix a wrong weight or price

How weights and prices reach the order summary, what you can change before delivery, and how to credit a mistake after it.

A product sold by weight is charged on the weight entered at packing times its price per kg or lb, not on the order's estimate. The order summary is made at delivery, from what was handed over: what was delivered, the weights, the total and the tax. It is never edited afterwards.

Weight typed wrong? Fix it while you pack, before the order is marked packed: tap the line again on the phone, or change it in Pack this order on the web. A reading more than a quarter away from the usual weight must be confirmed. Once the order is packed, its weights cannot be changed.

Price wrong? An order keeps the prices it was taken at; a new list price or customer price applies to new orders. A change to the order keeps those prices too. To put a line on at today's price before packing starts, take it off with Change and save, then add it again and save.

After delivery the order summary is never edited. If something on it was wrong — a weight, a price, a case that arrived damaged — open the order summary on the web and press Issue credit: choose why (Damaged, Not good enough, Not received, Wrong item, Price correction or Other) and what to credit. The credit is numbered CR- on its own, comes off what the customer owes, and they are told.

The order summary is not an invoice, and Supligo moves no money: customers pay you. If you issue your own invoices, put the difference right on yours too.
