Deliveries

Put packed orders on a truck

Choose the truck for each packed order, and it is on that truck's run. Pickups and couriers are marked delivered from the order.

1. Open Orders and choose To load. The warehouse uses Load on the phone, or Loading on the web.

2. Press Load on an order, or tick several and press Load onto a truck. On the phone, open the order and press Load onto a truck; it is also the last step of packing.

3. Choose the truck. The one going to that area in time is marked Suggested. A truck that cannot keep something cold enough says why it cannot take it. Press Load onto and the truck's name.

The order is now loaded, a stop on that truck's run for its delivery day, ready for a driver to take.

On the phone, More actions, then Take it off and the truck's name, takes an order off a truck that has not left.

No trucks yet? Press Add a truck in the same window, or open Team, then Trucks, then Add a truck. Name it by where it goes (Downtown, for example) and enter its Plate; if you like, add the area it goes to, when it Leaves at and its Temperature. A truck with no temperature set is not refrigerated: it carries dry goods only.

An order the truck could not deliver shows Not delivered. Load it onto a truck again, or cancel it.

Picked up at your counter or sent by courier? On the web, open the order, press Mark delivered, choose Picked up or By courier, and press Mark delivered. The order summary is issued and the customer is told; a pickup has no delivery fee. Driver had no app is for a truck delivery the driver could not record.
